Immigration Resources: Family Preparedness Plan

The State of Connecticut has developed a Family Preparedness plan for families. The plan was designed specifically to assist parents or guardians who are concerned that they may become separated from their children if they are detained or deported due to matters of immigration enforcement. The tool kit outlines some simple steps an individual can take without the assistance of a lawyer or court action, such as completing a child care plan or identifying a trusted adult to care for the child in the parent or guardian's absence.
