I am writing to remind you of the inclement weather policies of the Waterbury Public Schools and have included a list of the radio and television stations that will carry any necessary announcements.  The Department of Education will also you an automated phone call system to notify you of school cancellations and delays. Please make sure you have updated your phone number so you are eligible for this important service.

Cancellation

According to the Superintendent of Schools.

Late Opening

In case of a late opening school begins 2 hours late (9:50) at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools.

Dismissal due to Inclement Weather

Please make sure that you have made plans for this type of situation. Written permission should be on file with the house office if you wish your child to be released to an adult you have designated.
